Libraries of SPICE models and their schematic symbols, for use with GEX. Includes semiconductors, high-level macromodels, laplace and mechanical components.
This file is an update, since the previous file appears to have been corrupted by the substitution of Windows CR/LF for the Unix LF. This could have caused display and compilation errors.
Some of the models use the Spice2g6 'poly' non-linear sources. If you want to run them on Spice3, you must run the .ckt netlist through Vpoly, which will translate the polynomial into a Spice3 equation.

Note! You'll probably need to install cygwin to run these

None of this stuff was ever intended to be run on MSWin, so it may not work at all. This is a quick'n'dirty compilation on Windows 10, using the cygwin X11 libraries, which means you'll probably need to run all the executables from a cygwin terminal. We'd be interested to know if any of these executables actually work, so we'd appreciate any feedback.

Linux executables

Note! Remove leading 'l' from name and chmod 755

All Linux executables were compiled on CentOS 6.9, and may not work on your Linux. I'm afraid we've kind of neglected Linux, since each new release breaks something that worked perfectly in the old release, and the different flavours of the O/S are implementing different features. For example, CentOS 6.9 won't execute (or even find) an executable with a name which doesn't match its compiled name. That's why you need to rename e.g lGEX to GEX.

Although these tools are, technically, unsupported, they are updated almost daily, in response to requests for bug fixes.
If you find a really unacceptable bug, please don't hesitate to report it. If it doesn't need too much effort, we'll probably fix it.
